About our Climate Sanctuary
Sweet Farm is the world’s first nonprofit sanctuary to address the devastating impact that factory farming has on climate change — from the perspective of animals, plants, and the planet. We must first understand how these pieces are connected within our complicated food web before we can tackle climate change at its core. By joining climate education, regenerative agriculture, farm animal rescue, and the sustainable technology that is disrupting agriculture and food production, Sweet Farm is redefining sanctuary.

We rescue and rehabilitate farm animals from various tragic circumstances within the food system. These animal ambassadors spread the message that they deserve our compassion and respect, and help educate farm visitors around issues related to animal welfare, factory farming, and sustainability.

Our educational programs promote the ease and joy of plant-based living. These include on-the-farm cooking demos and gardening classes, tastings, tours, volunteer days, and community outreach, as well as online education and advocacy that reaches a global audience.
Sweet Farm offers hands-on agriculture-based programs to inspire people to bring greater compassion to how they source, prepare, and eat food. We celebrate biodiversity, growing heirloom, open-pollinated seeds using regenerative and sustainable methods.
Sustainable Regenerative Agriculture
We partner with innovative start-ups in the food, agriculture, sustainability, and climate technology sectors to provide them with a diverse range of support, including access to funding, expanded networking, mentorship, product showcases, and promotion. We believe innovation is the key to true, global change.

Sweet Farm is home to more than 110 rescued animals, each one of whom has a unique and special story. You can also support them with a sponsorship that helps cover the costs of food, bedding, medical care, and the occasional treats.
Our Plants
Each year, Sweet Farm grows over 100 types of vegetables and flowers, with a focus on heirloom and open-pollinated varieties that preserve the biodiversity of our crops and agriculture at large. Our harvest is sold on the farm, to local restaurants, and donated to local families in need.
Our Technology
Sweet Farm works with some of the most innovative start-ups in the world, focused on disrupting our food, agriculture, sustainability, and climate technologies for the better. We provide support and guidance for fundraising, field trials, market fit, and scaling.
