Oh Hay, It’s Fall!

Hay Fundraiser

Two baby pigs resting on a pile of hay inside a wooden barn.

Fall has arrived in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. The leaves are putting on a show, the weather is beautiful, and the flowers and squirrels are both working hard to prepare for winter. And so are we!

New York winters are no joke. Hay prices are currently up after a very dry and hot summer, and it's important to make sure we're well prepared for the inevitable supply shortages and price increases that come with the colder months.

All of our sheep, llamas, goats, cows, and pigs rely on hay to stay fed and warm throughout the winter…and we need to stock up NOW. We are fundraising for 1,000 bales of hay to get us through the long winter. Your support is the only thing that makes it possible for our incredible rescued animals to ride out the winter in comfort with full bellies.

Goal: 1,000 bales

Current: 498 bales

WE HAVE A MATCH!

Every dollar donated to our Hay Fundraiser will automatically be doubled!!

So your donation goes twice as far and supplies TWICE THE HAY for our rescued animals.

We go through 30-40 bales of hay PER WEEK in the colder months! That’s $300-400 each week!
