While we enjoy the harvest and all the bounty this summer has given us, on a farm we are always thinking two seasons ahead. The ripening of squashes and the second flush of raspberries remind us that fall is almost here. That means it’s time to prepare for the colder months ahead. Our rescued animals depend on hay every day, during all seasons. During winter, good hay can become harder to find and more expensive, and without summer forage our animals need much, much more of it.

By raising funds now, Sweet Farm can purchase the hay we need for the full winter season before prices rise and local supplies become scarce.

All of our sheep, llamas, goats, cows, and pigs rely on hay to stay fed and warm throughout the winter…and we need to stock up NOW. We are fundraising for 1,000 bales of hay to get us through the long winter. Your gift will help make sure our animals stay nourished, comfortable, and well cared for all winter long.
