Feed a Family

Feed a Family, Nourish Our Community

When you give to Sweet Farm, you put fresh, local, regeneratively grown vegetables on the tables of families right here in the Finger Lakes—through our 24-hour, pay-what-you-can farmstand and community produce donations.

The Problem: In our rural community, too many neighbors are forced to choose between cheap, ultra-processed calories and skipping meals altogether, even while surrounded by farms and fields. Traditional food assistance can come with paperwork, limited hours, and stigma that keep people from getting the fresh produce they need to stay healthy.

Sweet Farm’s Solution: At Sweet Farm, we grow heirloom, open-pollinated crops using regenerative methods that restore soil health, protect our lakes, and nourish the people who eat from this land. During the growing season, those vegetables are stocked at our 24/7, self-serve, pay-what-you-can farmstand, where anyone can take home what they need and pay what they can afford—no questions asked.

How it Works

Your donation directly sponsors produce for local households:

  • You give: A one-time, weekly, or monthly gift to the Feed a Family fund.

  • We grow: Regeneratively farmed, safe, and nutritious vegetables on our farm.

  • Families choose: Neighbors access the farmstand any time, paying what they can—or nothing at all—using cash, card, or simply kindness.

  • Community grows: Extra harvest is donated to partner pantries so your impact extends beyond the farmstand.

Every gift, at any level, directly translates into more pounds of fresh, climate-friendly food in local kitchens.
