Jicama, Mei Lan, Hansi, Loosey Goosey, and Lady Crowley make up our gaggle of special geese, and all came to us from different circumstances. Geese are often raised from chicks then dumped in the wild when people no longer want to care for them. Both Jicama and Crowley have a condition called angel wing, where their wing joint developed improperly due to a nutrient deficient diet, and means they will never fly. This is generally a result of people feeding geese in parks, and is fatal for wild geese. We are so lucky that these two girls were rescued in time and we are honored to be able to care for all of them.
