It’s a girl!
We were asked to foster a neonatal kitten that was found all alone on a local farm. She was super tiny and needed to be bottle fed every few hours, which meant she had to be near a team member at all times. Well, our big orange softie, Monster (above), fell in love with her.
We couldn’t bear to part Monster and his new foster daughter.
Meet Frankie, short for “Frankenstein’s Monster.”
…And a boy!!
Well, in true Sweet Farm fashion, another of our team members was already fostering another kitten. We knew both kittens would benefit from socialization in order for them to be well adjusted and adopted someday, so we introduced them to each other. The two bonded much more than we expected, so now we have TWO NEW KITTENS on the farm!
Meet Grub, Frankie’s new best friend.
We were NOT planning on adding two more cats to our barn cat crew!
But we think you’ll agree that it was without a doubt the right thing to do. Monster gets to keep his foster daughter, and she gets to keep her new big brother. Forever.
Both Frankie and Grub will need to be fixed and vaccinated as soon as they are big enough. And they bring our total number of barn cats to 8! Can you help us afford their care?
