Little Levi is a fainting pygmy goat who was found on the streets of Queens, NY. This brave boy most likely escaped from a live market, of which NYC has more than any other city in the US.

Fainting, or myotonic goats, don’t actually faint! When they are startled, their muscles stiffen and they fall over but remain fully conscious but unable to move. While many people think it is just a cute and amusing trait, the reality is quite dark. It is said that they were often used as scapegoats in sheep herds, so that when a predator attacked, the goat would faint and be sacrificed to the attacker and the more expensive sheep would be able to escape.

Levi also has heterochromia, meaning he has two different colored eyes! He is such a hilarious and fun guy who would love to meet you on a tour!
