Companion Planting Workshop: Virtual & In Person

  • Sweet Farm 210 Hall Road Himrod, NY, 14842 United States (map)

Curious about gardening, but not sure what to put where? This workshop is for you.

Join Sweet Farm for an approachable, beginner-friendly introduction to companion planting—a simple, regenerative gardening practice that helps plants grow healthier together. Companion planting uses natural relationships between plants to improve growth, reduce pests, and support soil health, all without chemicals or complicated techniques.

In this workshop, we’ll cover:

  • What companion planting is (in plain language)

  • Easy plant pairings that work well for beginners

  • How companion planting fits into regenerative gardening and soil health

  • Simple layouts for raised beds, containers, and small spaces

  • Common beginner mistakes and how to avoid them

This workshop is offered both virtually and in person, with clear explanations, visuals, and plenty of time for questions. No prior gardening experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to learn.

You’ll leave feeling confident, inspired, and equipped with practical tools you can use right away to grow food in a way that’s better for your garden and the planet.

Growing is better when plants (and people) support one another.
