Help us welcome 12 new friends to Sweet Farm
Over the last three years alone, Sweet Farm has taken in more than 70 animals from closing sanctuaries. Every one of those rescues has required transport, veterinary appointments, and the kind of day-to-day care that helps animals heal and thrive.
New Arrivals Need Your Help
Five sheep and seven ducks have just arrived at Sweet Farm after yet another sanctuary was forced to close its doors. We are grateful to be able to offer them safety, care, and a soft landing during a deeply uncertain transition. Help us welcome sheep Pax, Willow, Marla, Annabelle, and Nicholas, as well as ducks Hamilton, Bodhi, Shanti, Lily, Bobbi, Clover, and Margaux to their forever home.
Why This Matters
It is always heartbreaking when rescued animals must be displaced again, especially after they have already endured so much. There is an immense need for safe homes for animals, and sanctuaries everywhere are under extraordinary strain. As more rescues and sanctuaries close or struggle to stay open, the sanctuary community is in crisis — and Sweet Farm is doing our part to help by stepping up for animals who need safety, stability, and compassionate care.
That means arranging transport, scheduling necessary vet exams, and covering the costs that come with welcoming new animals into a safe forever home. These expenses add up quickly, and they often arrive all at once. Your support helps make sure we can say “yes” when animals have nowhere else to go.
